Crohns Disease This condition was discovered when the doctors did some tests. They took biopsies of the lining of my throat, and the lining of my intestines. What they discovered was, that the tissues were very inflamed. So crohns disease really just means an inflammation of the stomach lining. This disease gives me bad stomach aches. It can be very painful. Sometimes the crohns will be under control, but every once in awhile, I'll go through a flare up. A flare up, is just when my stomach linings are more inflamed than usual.
