PCOS

What this really means, is that I have little cysts all over my ovaries. Sometimes some of these cysts can grow very large, and when this happens, it is very painful. If the cyst gets too big, then something more serious can happen, this is, that the ovary can sort of twist, which cuts of the blood flow to the ovary, and ultimetly in the end, your ovary might have to be removed.

Luckily, mine never twisted, and I was never in such a serious condition, but when the cysts get large, it is very painful.

I had an operation called a laperoscopy, which is where the doctors go into my pelvis with a sort of tube. They don't have to actually cut me open. While inside, they found the large cyst and tried to asperate it, or in other words, to shrink it down so it wouldn't be so big.

I'm actually very lucky. Most people that have this condition are obese, have facial hair, or very dark hair, and acne. Those are sort of signs that you might have this condition, however, I don't any of those things. Which is lucky, but also made it difficult to diagnose me, because I didn't exhibit any of the normal characteristics that people with PCOS have.
